How I got here!

It’s easy to do great work when you believe in what you do. That’s why I spend my time writing about what I do. I watch very few horror movies. The Doppelgangers series has very little to do with the horror genre. The Doppelgangers have more to do with mystery and the unexplained. In 1975, while stationed in Germany, I had the opportunity to visit Castle Frankenstein. Inside the dimly lit main first-floor room, hung a large portrait of a young woman from the early 17th 16th century. It was explained by the tour guide that on occasion, if you viewed the portrait at just the right angle, you could see the Doppelganger standing beside the woman. As I moved all around the room, I saw nothing. As I was catching up with all of the other tourists, I glanced once again at the portrait and for a moment, I thought I saw another image standing off to the side and following me as I left the room. I never thought any more about it again until years later when I began writing.
